I have ipe cat back system on my 991 c2s. I don't feel any difference in term of power and weight, but I loved the sound and this is just my personal preference.
If its a power upgrade you want, then you will have to replace the cats with some 200 cell units, then flash the DME to take advantage of the upgrades. And you are talking a full exhaust, headers included. Big money to do it all, and it can be so 'aggressive' that life is miserable inside the car as a daily driver. If all you want to do is go lighter/louder, then some of the "X-Pipes" will easily do that for you at a reasonable price. Lots to choose from in that category. As to what looks best, it won't matter until your car goes on the lift - that's the only time you can see it. I have a cat-back Tubi on my car, its perfect for what I want out of a system, which is quiet when I'm driving easy, and a great Porsche-Track-Car sound when romping around. And its probably the best looking pipe out there, but its all hidden when installed. Here's a photo...stock on top.
AWE cant be beat for the price. And the sound with PSE valves open is incredible. I really dont think you should be concerned about power. Any increase from a cat back is negligable
Which exhaust will get the best result? 1. Make the most horse power 2. Lightest weight 3. Most aggressive sound 4. The nicest look
FWIW, I did a fair amount of research and decided to go with the AWE. It is currently being manufactured & should ship in two weeks. I recommend that you first decide exactly what you want from a tuned exhaust, for example:
1) Is your car going to be a DD? If not, is it a track only car?
2) If you don't track your car, does the extra HP & Torque matter?
3) Will noise disturb your community?
4) Can you readily restore to stock, if desired on car sale or lease return.
After you answer the above, then research who makes the system that fits your preferences. After you gain an understanding of the market, then:
1). Look to warranty
2) Do they have a dealer network that will install & standby the system?
3) How will the system impact warranty?
If you are looking for maximum power gains, weight loss better then any gym can supply, an aggressive sports car tone, and a master piece of metal craft art - you may want to consider the Fabspeed Supersport.

Dyno Comparison Between the OEM system and our Supersport
Squires...there's a couple of things to keep in mind. If your car is any of the S models, then the exhaust comes equipped with valves from the factory. When switching to aftermarket, don't go for a "one size fits all" system, you'll want to make sure you get the appropriate system to match your car.
We have Tubi system available for both the S and non-S models specifically. With each one, we spent a lot of time tailoring the sound to the cars...so instead of just a "loud" exhaust, you really get a sound that's really custom fit for your car and still characteristic of Porsche. Along with that you also shave a bit of weight from the back of the car, and get the added benefit of a slight bump in horsepower. Power gains from the exhaust were dyno tested and proven to be 15hp/12tq. Those are realistic gains to the wheels, measured here on our dyno.
I have the Fabspeed Headers with 200 cell cats paired with the AWE SwithPath system. My 991 came equipped with PSE. So switching from quiet to loud is night and day difference. Also sound when open is unreal. But when closed, it is as close to stock. Thanks to the stock mufflers. Those two units saved me a ton weight. Plus so much more power, according to my butt-dyno.

Don't we all wish an extra 50HP was that easy to come by! I'm actually removing my whole exhaust system for an extra 100HP. No mufflers, just straight pipes back.
