Avoid excessive heat from a heat gun.

It will overheat the clear coat and pull it up many times with the badge.

Then you're dealing with a whole bumper repaint.

I always debadge my cars. A LITTLE heat with a hair dryer and then use light fishing leader or dental floss. Fishing leader works better.

I Concours my cars an am always able to get the areas around the emblems cleaned. It just takes a little time and effort and the right cleaning supplies. Check out the Groit's catalog for products.

991 s

It was easy to remove the letters and numbers. Just used a blow dryer for a little heat and then used dental floss to remove them. I then I used a little detail spray and clay bar. Then polished and waxed. Then installed the new letters.

I am very happy with the look. Stands out way better than the chrome.

Looks great. Nice job! I like the way it looks.

Just line up the yearly renewal sticker on your plate now A big pet peeve of mine. Especially when people don't even put them over the old one!

I debadged, and put on on a custom painted one instead. Wasn't chrome crazy either.

Yes they are, good call.

Got them from Sun Coast. They are pricey but I like them.
