Cabrio window closing problem

Just the other day when I went to close my cabrio top, the windows on he passenger side went up like they are supposed to. The windows on the drivers side did not go up. This is a 2012 991 and has continued doing this the past couple times I have had the top down. I had to manually raise the front and rear windows on the drivers side. Has anybody faced this issue and is there a fix, other than the service dept at my dealer's?

I had the same thing happen on the passenger side after some routine software updates (unrelated to the top and windows). It easily fixed at the dealer with either a reset or reload of the software. If I remember, it took only 10-15 minutes and they did it while I waited.

Have you had your battery disconnected by chance. Once my dealer forgot to reset one side so I had to figure it out myself.

The windows have a memory that has to be set so they know what fully closed is. If this is not set properly they wont go up with the top or the one touch full close feature will not work. If you disconnect the battery the memory gets wiped out. You need to reset them. Even if your battery has not been disconnected I would follow this easy fix procedure and see if it works. To do this you close the window all the way and then after it is closed you lift up on the button like you are trying to close it again and the memory will be reset. Better directions are in the manual or in the post below.
