This made the local news here in Dallas too. That would irritate me too.
Just as much as the jerks that purposely ride in the passing lane of the local interstates.

As opposed to what? Certainly this is more interesting than the reports endless political bickering.
I do agree that he could have parked much closer. No style points for him

There always seems to be a difference of opinion on the taking "two Spaces" parking technique.
First of all, I'd NEVER EVER park near the entrance of anything.. I am always befuddled at people who go to a crowded parking lot at the supermarket, mall etc.. and feel the need to park as close as possible. The same people who will clog up works waiting for someone to backout so they can be close.. (Not talking about spots for disabled folks, that is different.. But I'm amazed at healthy people who will suffer the aggravation associated with getting that close parking spot. 99% of the time I walk right by them while they are still waiting and I parked in the far corner of the parking lot.
But that said... The discussion I've had with many is about when you do park in the far part of the parking lot, far from any other cars and you take two spaces. I've got friends to say that I'm just inviting lunatics by taking two spaces out there. My thoughts are always, who is even paying attention to cars in the far edge of the lot away from anything?

I tend to enjoy news that is somewhat ironic or amusing..
