Fabspeed exhaust feedback

hey all,

picking up a 2014 c4s on Saturday - it does not have PSE...looking for feedback on Fabspeed's exhausts...anyone have the one below installed? I am looking for a deeper sound without too much drone at highway speeds...if this is not a good choice - can you suggest one? ( yes I know - this topic has probably been beaten to death - but fresh opinions never hurt.

I started a thread on the PSE install on a 991 S/4S. The whole thing (parts and labor) can be done for less than $2k. I've been very satisfied with the PSE and like the option of turning it off...especially when I'm trying to make a call.

The good news is that with the 4S, you have a few of the bits already that are required for the PSE. As 911cv points out there is another thread on all the parts required, etc. If you can source the parts at a discounted price, you quite literally could install yourself - with the exception of the programming required that you would have to have the dealer perform.

Also, you should definitely look into the AWE SwitchPath exhaust for the "S" cars ( you would need the version for your 4S that doesn't have the PSE factory option ).

There are tons of threads on this board comparing the AWE, FabSpeed, and many others. Just use the search tool.... Some good comparison videos out there too!

Good luck, and keep us posted! Would love to see pics of your new 4$ as well!

Exactly. Source the parts through Sonnen then have a Porsche dealer do the install (I had Porsche of Rockville and they were great). On the S/4S, vacuum lines are already in place and the side mufflers stay in place....this makes install on an S/4S much cheaper than a base Carrera. You'll still need some vacuum line pieces (see my thread) to connect/extend the existing vacuum lines.

I have the same exact ones on my Carrera (3.4) and they are simply amaaaaaaaaazing <3
only thing I had is that when the (sound symposer) valve opens, the car tends to get echo-ish inside. muted the symposer and now all is fine

(look here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...era-3-4-a.html its my post with some videos regarding the exhausts.)
