I had my 2013 C2S for 20k miles and not one issue. Only to the dealer for oil changes. Traded for my Turbo and up to 3700 miles with no issues to date.

I think it goes without saying that members love their 991's. I just trying to determine how many out there have had no issues at all and its nice to see that some of our members have not. BTW I owned a 2008 Cayman S and a 2011 Spyder and neither car had any issues. Also, I know of four members of the Peachstate Porsche Club who have not had any issues since day one. Three 2013's and one 2014 not including mine.

Due to the nature of the rules of this thread I cannot reply without an infraction and would not want to ruin the OP's thread......

I assume from your comments that you have had some issues. I am not trying to be difficult but I simply wanted to see how many 991 owners are having absolutely no issues with their cars. There are more than enough threads on those who are having issues so I thought I would be nice to see the other sides experiences.

If a "no issue" owner were to post, then afterwards has an issue would they be required to retract their post or update their status?

I want to post but want to know the rules before doing so.

This thread could not be simpler. No issues period. Furthermore, don't think its possible to retract a post. Can you update the status if the situation changes? I suppose so. The reason I started this post is I am tired of reading all of the negative posts and was looking for some positive responses but apparently you can't do that without tweaking people.

+1. It is unfortunate that bad news travels at twice the speed of good news

I'm superstitious. I think I'll pass. I think I may be cursed with a dreaded issue if I brag about my non issues even though after spending over 100K one would expect no issues so that's why people get so upset when issues do arise and are vocal about them especially when they fall upon deaf dealer/PCNA ears many times ... I think most of the unhappiness comes from owners whose "issues" aren't properly addressed and fixed.

That's the true "issue"!

2014 Carrera S, 5600 fantastic miles, not a single issue. Ok, a big speeding ticket. The car made me drive too fast. Is that a fault?

No issues with my 2012 991C2S over 18,000 miles. No issues with my current 2014 991C4S with 10,000 miles

I totally agree with you that when you spend over $100,000 on a car you expect it to be issue free and that if it is not the dealer network and PCNA should correct the problem. There are plenty of threads devoted to that subject. This thread is not one of them. I am simply trying to find out how many 991 owners are not having any problems in contrast to those who are. Why is that so hard to understand. If you are not having problems add your post. If your are don't.

I never expected a perfect car. I did expect that the dealer and Porsche would address my concerns. The dealer has been great. Porsche has been good once i got past the polite Porsche phone answerers.
