Two issues with my '13 C2S 7mt:

1) The dreaded stumble.
2) A very noticeable transaxle whine/grinding noise at very low speed.

That said, it's hard to imagine a car that gives me more pleasure. Every drive reminds me what an incredible driver's car this is.

Great you love your car. That's awesome! Enjoy it. Life is too short.

Black Beauty might slap your hand with a ruler though!

Very funny. Must be your Midwestern sense of humor. I guess I should change the name of this thread to 991 Owners Who Have Had Numerous Issues but still love their car and enjoy driving it. BTW in the South we don't use rulers to slap your hand we use GRITS!

I concur. But hey, it's nice to see that some people have zero issues.

I have driven my '15 TTS 5,000 miles in the first four months and have experienced zero problems. Impeccable design, engineering and manufacture. The car has exceeded all of my expectations. I am interested to learn more about the durability of the PCCB's. Apparently the 'PCCB's on 991's are an improved version.

I've had my 2012 (new leftover) for a little over a year and 3,600 miles and it's the best, most fun car I've ever owned. By a lot. No issues.

I wish I could say I've had no issues, but in the past few months I had: 1) the spacer installed for the cam shaft sensor and 2) a random woman hit on me at a stoplight. 6600 miles.

In regards to the camshaft spacer, had you been having no-start issues or was it a normal campaign item?

Thanks

I had the engine randomly stop while at a light once or maybe twice (I thought maybe I had stalled it myself somehow or had start/stop on when I didn't mean to - once was on the day I picked up the car), then had a drive (at about 16 months-ish in, IIRC) where it stalled at several lights on the way to grab lunch with my daughter. That was a bit disturbing, so I took it in and the dealer saw an open campaign item for the spacer. I had videoed it stalling in the garage immediately after getting home while just letting the car idle, nice to have evidence since there was no warning message. I did notice that the initial engine start had seemed to crank a bit too long when I saw the issue - enough that it made an impression - so it sort of seemed to be in a funky state from the get-go that drive. No problems since in the ~3000 miles since.

I'd really like to point out that I wouldn't even mention this (I don't want to violate the rules of this thread with a vehicle imperfection! ), but I feel that getting randomly hit on balanced the random stall issue out and brought the average defects back to 0. By the time I factor in the many thumbs-ups and 'nice car!'s, I could forgive another issue or two, uh, not that I'm looking for any!

I have 6k miles on my now one year old TTS, and don't get the grits out, I live in Georgia too, the only issue was a broken driver side floor mat hold down that had to be replaced.

Software campaigns done to the car as well, but I assume these are exempt as defects.
