Does not work with the buttons. I've tried multiple times. Only works with the paddles from what I've seen and read. It's not you.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

It is also is used ( according to our friends on Rennlist) as a way to avoid the reverse engine, piston & trans rotation after entering a spin where we wind up tail back. I guess this is why it's not active on the Macan. Can't figure why Porsche disabled on the MFW.

It does not. I swapped my button steering wheel for the SD wheel for this sole reason. I love it!

I tried it on my C4S. It definitely works, not sure how I can apply it. I have to say though, always learn something new on the forum. Thanks.

You can use it as a coast function on downhill freeway stretches to save gas.
