PDK - Neutral?
tried again and mine doesnt do it. again, i have the multi-function wheel. ferrari works this way as well. i always felt like it was so you could put it in neutral with the paddles and blip the throttle at a stop light or something. cant really see another reason for it...
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.
It is also is used ( according to our friends on Rennlist) as a way to avoid the reverse engine, piston & trans rotation after entering a spin where we wind up tail back. I guess this is why it's not active on the Macan. Can't figure why Porsche disabled on the MFW.

It does not. I swapped my button steering wheel for the SD wheel for this sole reason. I love it!

You can use it as a coast function on downhill freeway stretches to save gas.
