switch from multi-function wheel to sportdesign

has anyone done this? i have looked into it and it seems like a pretty in- depth and expensive project.

my reason is the weird shift buttons on the MFW.

MFW buttons

You might want to consider installing the TechArt paddle-shift conversion kit. That way, you get to keep the multi-function wheel, and have paddles.

It's actually very easy to do, but I'm pretty sure it requires the dealer to reprogram it (at least going from SD wheel to MF requires this).

Champion has a paddle set as well. Wheel needs to be sent to them.

It is easy to do, buy the wheel go to the dealer, I think it was 1-2 hours of labor max.....was a good upgrade.

Do you get the full functionality of the oem paddle shifts? Such as pulling both paddles puts the car in neutral? It would seem to be a win/win situation.
