I'm Back!!

Hey guys I finally sold my R8 and I am back to the Porsche world. This time with a 991 C4S Coupe. I should be getting it in a few weeks. Good to be back and can't wait....

Loved the R8 I had it for a little over 2 years and needed a change. Wanted a turbo but can't do a pdk.

Interesting. I went from a 997 turbo to the 991 4S and love it. Also can't do PDK mine is an MT.

I went from 997 turbo to r8 v10 to the 991 c4s. Let's see how long this lasts

Why did you get out of the V10? Was thinking of buying one for my GF.

I too was considering the r8, problem for me is the same as when I had my vantage, sucks but it's an image problem... It's funny, you drive a 70k vantage to work (used) and everyone looks down on you (especially come employee review/raise time) but you can go drive up in a new 911 for 140k and nobody thinks twice about it...

I too considered the R8 but felt that it was too flashy - that it just attracts too much attention. The Vantage was also a contender, but I was afraid of repair costs and getting in and out of it was a chore for me. And half the people out there think it's a Jaguar anyway.

How was your time with the Vantage, Jonathan?

Oh, and welcome back Steven! Congrats on the almost-here new car with a proper transmission!
