porschenosub is infamous around these parts
Hi everyone. New new new guy here. I have a 2014 Base 911. I also have a Carrera S center muffler. Are the side mufflers compatible and is it worth the effort to install and do the mod above for more sound? I would be doing it myself and already have the center muffler.

sorry, it's been about a year since i've sold my 991.1s
but from what i remember, they are not compatible. the 991.1s exhaust is like the sports exhaust on the non s model. i still have the awe switchpath exhaust from my 2015 s model and those will only fit the s and the sports exhaust from the non s.
on the non s, everything has to end up coming out through the side muffler vs on the s, there are 4 outlets(2 through the side mufflers,2 that are valved that exits before going through the side mufflers).
i've had aftermarket exhaust on both 2014 base and 2015 s and the stocks were still way too quite even with this mod on the s. i would try to find a used aftermarket center muffler if you want a noticeable aggressive(burbbles and crackles) note.

if you call awe, they could explain it better in details. they were very helpful with it.
