I had the same campaign done -- to go to the second generation COV. I have had an exhaust COV failure since.

I think the fact that the COV is now on its fourth generation (model number ending in E) speaks loudly about the problem these have been giving. I think it is time for a model F, and a wholesale campaing like the first one -- hopefully with the desired results this time.

COV failed, leaving exhaust flap in open mode at all times. Result is annoying cabin drone at lower half of rev range.

Exhaust flap valves.

While we're at it, any guesses on what the "shutoff valve for the gear wheel heat exchanger" is?
