What is the general consensus of rear tail lights in clear vs red on a white car. Haven't seen any yet on a white car. 991.I have clear side markers up front. Thanks in advance

 

I think they work and look great!

 

On a 991S and a GT3

 

Anything looks good on a GT. Looks good. Thank you. My red ones have a little fog inside. The dealer gave me a choice under warranty.

 

I think they look great on a white 991 but prefer red on my black 991.

 

I personally like the red taillights. The white ones look very aftermarket to me. But to each his own.

 

I like them on my GT Silver TTS, but it is really just a matter of choice.

I think that there may be a couple of schools of thought. Some (like me) like the clears on light colored cars (white, silver) to provide a more integrated/monochrome look. Others like them on dark colored cars (black, DBM) to provide contrast. It's all good, just a matter of personal taste.

 

Not a fan of the clear taillights, but to each his own tastes.

 

Clears on a Guards Red car look particularly nice.

 

i think they look pretty cool, but then i remember back to the honda i had a hundred years ago with clear tails.
