Smile Short Porsche Enthusiast Survey for my MBA Program

My name is Julia and I'm a graduate student in the MBA Program at Cal State Long Beach State. My partner and I are working on a project for an Entrepreneurship class and our assignment is to write a focused-industry report with real data. We've chosen the automotive aftermarket industry, specifically for Porsche's, and we're looking to get some information from Porsche owners like yourself. We've created a short, 12 question survey and would greatly appreciate your participation if you have 5 minutes to give. Thank you in advance and please feel free to email with any questions!*

Julia: What question(s) are you and your partner really trying to answer? I would be hard pressed to associate anything meaningful from your questions. Perhaps "income" and "age" could be regressed, but little else. My best advice is: don't be 'cute' when you ask questions; ask only the question(s) that you want answered. Also, remember that you need at least ten cases per variable.
Best wishes on this study.

Looks like she is compiling a mailing list for future sales? It's geared towards parts buying.
Sorry, but I get enough spam.

A quick question: What HHI options? I did not see market share mentioned.

Sorry, should have specified, not referring to Herfindahl-Hirschman index, but household income levels.

The household income question seems off by an order of magnitude. I'm trying to imagine a making minimum wage and paying off a 991.

Probably my fault for putting it here but they wanted 911 owners..I told her the household income was off even for Boxter/Cayman let alone 991 911's

Don't answer the household income question. I went with it.

Sorry to any I offended with my questions. I'm a first-year grad student in an MBA program and I'm taking an entrepreneurship class. One of our assignments is to learn how to do an in-depth analysis of an industry. If you look online, there is very little to no information available about the Porsche industry (people who buy and own Porsche's) so I have been left with no choice but to find the answers for myself. The reason I asked the questions I did was because of the requirements of the assignment- identify the demographics of the industry (age, income, etc.) and general reasons about how and why people participate in the industry. I apologize if my questions seemed basic, like I said it's for a class assignment and I need to create a baseline in order to do it correctly. Thanks to all who participated!
