My airbag light came on (and stayed on) a few days back on the way home. Then, the next day it went away when I started the car. Should I take it to the dealer? Is the code still there or there won't be anything to read out since the light has gone away on its own?

Take it in to the Dealer and have them check it out. Last thing you need is a defective air bag deploying when you don't need it or not deploying when you do need it.

Taking it to the Dealer should be a no brainer for anyone.
