Anyone get communication regarding a technology update?

I got the following email, as well as a phone call from my Porsche dealer, yesterday. Anyone know what it's about?

Complimentary Technology Update
You and your 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet are invited, Mr. Sxxxx!

Dear Mr. Sxxxx,
We hope you are enjoying your 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet. Our goal is to ensure that every mile is as pleasant as your first, and that means bringing your vehicle up to the latest production specifications, similar to what you may have experienced with your smartphone's software updates. But unlike your phone, your 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet may need physical inspections and hardware upgrades as well.
Our records indicate that your vehicle has updates pending which can be easily handled by your authorized Porsche dealer. They have already been notified of these items, so preparations have been made to accommodate you as efficiently as possible. We would like to invite you to contact your Service Consultant at Prestige Imports by calling (303) 238-8101 to schedule an appointment at your convenience. This would also be a great time to ask any questions you may have about the operation of your 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet since taking delivery.
Please know there is no charge for this service. And while none of these updates impact the safety of your vehicle, they will help to ensure your 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is operating optimally, and will continue to provide a pleasurable driving experience. If you have already completed service in the last few days, there is no need for further action on your part at this time. If you have recently scheduled service, the updates should be made at your scheduled service visit.
Thank you for driving a Porsche.

I contacted my dealer and asked if there are any updates for my 2014 Carrera. They checked my Vin number and told me everything is up to date as of yesterday. They promised to let me know if that changes.

Yes - just brought my Targa 4S in for wheel swap today (winter to summer) and they are doing the download - tweaks some settings (oil level, PDK shifting, etc.) - I'm told its not something I'll notice but helps with some parameter settings that the technicians were having to deal with.

Went in for the annual oil robbery. After two years of no updates, there were two updates: CWF27 Perform PCM (with XM radio) update and DWF86 Re-program DME. As usual they had no clue what these were for.
