Hey Man congrats on the 991 nice to see you opted for the 7 speed and the not anti manual pdk.

If you have any questions about getting some wheels or suspension mods for it let me know.

I got around to washing it today and found something really weird about the car. It appears that the car has been repainted. There's a masking line that runs across the roof of the car about 2 inches from the windshield and there's a strip of overspray on the passenger side rear quarter. There are also some weird blue bubbles in the clear coat that looks as though someone did a poor prep job. The strangest thing of all is the passenger side mirror is METALLIC BLACK! It also has a courtesy light under it. Through a little research I found out that the courtesy light comes on the power folding mirror option which my car does not have. The driver's side mirror is the same non-metallic black as the rest of the car and without the courtesy light.

Here's a pic of the line across the roof

I have already spoken with the dealer and they are not showing that there was any work done to it. They believe that it may have been repaired at the port and asked me to drop it off Monday morning so that their Porsche rep can take a look at it. Either way, the damage was not disclosed at the point of sale.

You purchased this as a new car, right?

You and I may need to get together with our poor experiences at Porsche of DTLA, mine was pretty much as negative as I could imagine, and I gave the full rundown in the survey Porsche sent me. My phone has been ringing with calls from the dealership ever since I submitted that survey and whomever is calling has neglected leaving a message. Quite shady if you ask me.
