Very much like mine. I assume as I have said that it is gas or such and not PDK as I assume the PDK would let the revs build without going then drop the clutch (for lack of other description)

I have this delay also on my 2014 C4S. Have not taken it to the dealer yet.

Similar issues I've been having intermittently. Can be stressful when you expect to take off swiftly and the car feels like it lags.

It started about 6 months after another tranny replacement. After the car warmed up or if in Sport/Sport+, it didn't seem to happen.

The dealership tried many things including adding 'shims' and whatever else PCNA asked, nothing worked. Finally Atlanta said to replace the tranny, again. Since then I have had no problems. It's going on two years this September.
You had your tranny replaced twice for this issue?

The first replacement was for a leaking tranny. It was noticed when getting the 20k oil check. PCNA wouldn't let the techs fool with it and just sent a new one.

Could the hesitation be associated with a periodic ABS system test?

not to bump and old thread, but I had the same issue

I originally thought it was my PDK due to the drop in RPM briefly
Then I suspected the hill assist, but it started to happen without being engaged.

My car finally tripped a CEL light, had a throttle body problem and since it was replaced. I have not had the lag again.

This could be a bad question, but does anyone know the cost of buying a throttle body? Just wondering as I am not having any luck with my dealer taking care of this and will be off of warrenty soon.

Throttle reset

My dealer asked me to do a throttle reset before bringing it in. It seems to have helped. It is my first throttle reset with 15k miles.

What are the steps for doing a throttle reset?

Why not just ask your SA for a quote to replace the throttle body? You'll get a quote on parts and labor. Just because they can't figure out the problem doesn't mean you can't request to replace the TB (on your dime) to potentially resolve your problem. I mean of course ideally warranty would cover the "fix" but if you are really worried about the problem just try some good 'OL DIY.
Good luck!

Do a search for throttle adaption. It is a minute procedure...you have to time it. Don't touch any pedals during this period.
