PDK Clutch engagement from stop hesitation
Very much like mine. I assume as I have said that it is gas or such and not PDK as I assume the PDK would let the revs build without going then drop the clutch (for lack of other description)
Depending on your answers it may be the same as what happened with me, which led to a replacement tranny. 991 2012 C2S PDK
It would always happen when the car was cold. It would only happen in base mode, not Sport or Sport+. When applying the gas the car would not go, then a sudden lurch like a clutch was being let out. It started about 6 months after another tranny replacement. After the car warmed up or if in Sport/Sport+, it didn't seem to happen.
The dealership tried many things including adding 'shims' and whatever else PCNA asked, nothing worked. Finally Atlanta said to replace the tranny, again. Since then I have had no problems. It's going on two years this September.

PDK Clutch engagement from stop hesitation
The first replacement was for a leaking tranny. It was noticed when getting the 20k oil check. PCNA wouldn't let the techs fool with it and just sent a new one.
yes this is pretty similar to the issue i have. I also had my PDK replaced once before so guessing it may not be a PDK transmission issue or I may be wrong. Noticed it when I had a Panamera loaner vehicle and it didn't have the same issue with the pdk and was then left wondering why the Panemera was so much smoother than the 991...thanks
not to bump and old thread, but I had the same issue
I originally thought it was my PDK due to the drop in RPM briefly
Then I suspected the hill assist, but it started to happen without being engaged.
My car finally tripped a CEL light, had a throttle body problem and since it was replaced. I have not had the lag again.

Good to know fk...what did they actually replace?
This could be a bad question, but does anyone know the cost of buying a throttle body? Just wondering as I am not having any luck with my dealer taking care of this and will be off of warrenty soon.
What are the steps for doing a throttle reset?
Good luck!
Do a search for throttle adaption. It is a minute procedure...you have to time it. Don't touch any pedals during this period.
