I go back and forth, especially because they don't photograph well, but I'm happy with these for now. I thought I'd change them immediately as I haven't typically been a fan of black wheels, but they have grown on me.
what a stupid thread! I thought this forum was for people to help each other out? I'll reserve any further comment because that would be just as dumb as this thread.

I think you already achieved your goal. Congrats.

I like black or dark wheels. I think it gives more contrast to the car. But of course it also depends on the color too. Not every color is a good match with a black wheels. IMO, car with color or white look good with it. All black car? A bit too much IMHO.
I always liked the black wheels and when I got my son a white A3 a few months ago with glossy black wheels I decided to have my current summer wheels powder coated glossy black. I still have another set of the same exact wheels in the factory color for winter.
One thing I have noticed is since I had my wheels powder coated black the car gots a LOT more attention and compliments.
I think the black wheels give e car a cool look.
Btw brake dust shows up as brown so when they are dirty it is noticeable.
i keep thinking about switching out my matte black wheels for something else but can't picture it with anything else at the moment...
Looks great. The stormtrooper look never gets old to me. I have no problem with black wheels. Chrome and gold are the only finishes that make me cringe at times.
I am not a fan of black wheels. They have been so over done. They should go the way of chrome wheels, and be put on GM and Ford cars only.
I would say you shouldn't get them then. But I don't think it makes you an authority just one with another opinion. I don think Porsche thinks they are over yet since they continue to show black on upgraded cars both in 5 and center lug. Take a look at he new GTS.
Wouldn't it be terrible if we were all the same. This way no one is really the authority on "what's in or right" as it is ever changing. But you don't have to own them. By the way most GM and Ford cars I see are silver.
