Just a lark, but see any part # on the part? Most of the time there is a number on the part somewhere.... if you find that we can tell you exactly what it is.

Found the location.
Under drivers seat.
Back end of the seat track.
Not sure what it does.
Other side/track has one, it's there.
Seat works fine.
