Car Malfunction, or Spoiler Activity I've Never Noticed?
I just drove my car 1/2 mile from home to the convenience store then back. When I got back the spoiler was fully extended after shutting the car off. I had not pushed the spoiler button during my drive, so I turned the car back on to lower the spoiler and it took me about 10-11 pushes of the button to get the spoiler back down.
I'm assuming I would have noticed this before but is there by chance some reason the car would have done this due to heat? It's 110 degrees right now, so maybe?
My car the other day gave me some sort of front park assist malfunction message on the PCM screen while I was sitting parked first in line at a stop light, so these two things combined makes me think that *perhaps* my battery is dying, could that theory make sense?

If you were in sport+ your wing automatically deploys. If your wing is up and the car is not moving and you want to lower the wing, you have to press the spoiler button and keep it pressed for about 10 seconds. You should get a message saying spoiler retracting or similar, and a final message saying spoiler retracted.

So I read my manual today and realized the spoiler took ten pushes of the button to get down because I'm a blubbering fool and was just giving it a quick push of a button!
So now that I understand how it works, I still can't figure out why it was up to begin with, but last night driving around I did not observe it duplicating the issue, so perhaps it was just a one-time quirk.
*I learned about electrical quirks in my days owning Volkswagens... gremlins are normal lol

Not sure on this, I go to sport plus and my wing does not raise. I also do not get any message stating if it is up or lowering. I can push the button to raise or it goes up automaticly around 78 mph and drops around 50 no matter what mode I am driving in, and no message anyplace except telling me if I am in sport or sport plus.
Hmmmm... Where might I see this message? I've been manually lowering the wing by holding the button for the past year and-a-half, and don't recall ever seeing a visual indicator other than the "spoiler-up" red light on the button blinks when it is lowering, and then goes out completely when the spoiler is retracted completely. If I remove my finger before it is fully retracted it simply keeps blinking. Would love something more "heads-up" in front of me to tell me the status. Couple of times I didn't hold the button long enough (when stopped, or moving really slow) and didn't notice the light blinking. When moving at driving speeds the button works on a single push.
Here are pics of the messages.
How are the new 991.2 owners going to answer when their friends ask them if they got a Turbo or just a regular 911???
