Just wondering if anyone has splashed out for the Akrapovic titanium cat-back exhaust for the 991. I have an Akra full system on my bike and the improvement in responsiveness was incredible.

What I want to know is how loud it is with the baffles closed. I'm all for having a full on race mode but having PSE off for motorways (and the sanity of Mrs Rat) is a good thing too, so I'd ideally like an exhaust whose quiet more is properly quiet! I had an Innotech Performance one on my old Boxster, which really helped with responsiveness and low-end power when the baffles were open, but was still a bit too loud for my taste when they were closed.

Anyway, if anyone's bought it or been in a car with it I'd love to hear about it!

 

I was a big fan of Akra.
I had on my E90 M3, E70X5M then F10M5. However, it's not so popular in 991 crowd.
Maybe because of it's price tag 9k+ and PSE already has amazing sound (Love M cars but never really loved their stock sounds..)

But I've seen a couple of guys selling theirs over Rennlist. Maybe you can ****** one for good price.
