tanman, I have existing plates and trying to get the legacy, im tring to transfer old plates ontolegacy plates..it wont let me cause it says its already taked(by me) don't see anything about "transfer",,did u do this online

I pre-ordered the Legacy plates last year. I did include a note in the application that the plates were being transferred to a new car.

In your case, if you can't do it on line, you might have to go to the DMV with your registration and order the Legacy plates as a replacement for existing plates.

just got back from DMV..i need topay fees, submit paperwork, give them my existing tags before they process it, then I have to wait months for the new plates all the while driving with a temp. plate......NAHH, im gonna pass

maybe yours will get 'stolen' and you can just order replacement ones in black.

the kicker is she said if I don't turn it old plates they will not renew and id have to reorder the plates that I had, not the black ones
