I have the AWE on mine. Love it so much. You will love it! Plus they have a sound guarantee which is pretty awesome

I received my Armytrix exhaust few days back. Austin from Vivid Racing also helped with the order. I had the exhaust installed at Driver Source (exotic car service center) in Houston.

Since the exhaust been installed, the car rattles and vibrates at 600-900 rpm. I took my car back to the service center to get it checked but they can't find anything wrong with the install. The exhaust is properly mounted and secured. I actually went over all bolts and nuts myself while it was on their lift. They did an excellent job mounting the system.

Vivid assured me a follow up from an Armytrix tech last week but to date no one has contacted either me or the service center.....

I believe Vivid is trying to get this corrected...they asked for a video/sound clip as according to Vivid racing, Armytrix will not engage on a post install issues without the clip so now I will be taking my car back to the service center on Monday for the 3rd time so they can try and capture the rattling and vibration on a video clip....

I've waited over two months to have that system shipped only to go through all this frustration and wasted cycles.... So far my experience is terrible to say the least.

I'm still hopeful that Armytrix will do the right thing and provide the much needed support to one of their paying customers...most defiantly, their follow up has been way below expectation, not what one would expect paying close to 5k for their system

I will send out an update next week to let you all know how it went.

The saga continues....

Best,
Tamer

Armytrix is garbage, sorry you got taken by a vendor who is willing to sell you inferior products... should have gone to Goodspeed. The AWE was insanely good in both sound and quality.

Apparently not enough to stop trying to sell the systems though

We have had nothing but great results with Armytrix and are currently running their systems on our Project Mclaren and Project CLA45. Nobody is perfect and we are working with Armytrix and the customer to find a solution.

I got my GT3 RS with ipe exhaust system. That sound is really really AWESOME!!!!
BTW I got armytrix exhaust before, and they got a serious resonance problems. Quite annoying so I change it to ipe.

My $.02. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt (including mine) because everyone is going to like the exhaust they have because they paid great money for it. Try to go and listen to them live.

I have had three. AWE, Akrapovic and bbi. I don't think bbi makes an application for your car. The Akra is by far the best in this universe and you will pay for it. AWE is just mediocre in my book and lastly I am stock right now but the next exhaust to go on is Kline. From Sams support to every single person I know that has one to the sound, win-win.

Either way good luck in your search. Good news is when you drop that coin, you force yourself to love whatever system you buy. It's weird that way.

If you want the best, and nothing else will do, Akrapovič exhaust systems are made with the same mentality as HRE makes their wheels, no compromises. Power gains and weight shedding is the name of the game, and Akrapovič certainly has helped the 991 by giving us that extra performance, but also that unique Akrapovič sound.

hard to go wrong with any of them! do these have a button to turn on/off like the stock system? the loud noise might get tiresome on long trips...

We offer a few set ups that work with the PSE if you have install and for those who don't you can add it.

For cars already equipped with PSE I would highly recommended our Valvetronic Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe. When closed this will give you a more aggressive sound over stock yet being tame and manageable. When you open up the valves the x-pipe provides a straight through path to dump the exhaust out to the tips.

Valvetronic Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe (for PSE only)

For cars that are not already PSE equipped we offer a Valvetronic Exhaust System that includes the Valvetronic X-Pipe listed above as well as Side Mufflers with Tips and a vacuum valve controller. This system fuctions the same way as I listed above giving you a more aggressive yet manageable tone when closed and a more extreme tone when open for spirited back road driving!
