Have the good folks at GIAC not managed it?

GIAC has software for the 991 already, don't know about the GTS though. There is some power to be had especially if you are going to run the 200 cpi HJS cats to adjust fuel curve and timing. The issue with GIAC is you have to send it to them and its not cheap.

I've decided to keep my 4S for the long term. Car has been terrific in every way. Doing some body modifications and interior trim to make it more special and mine.
Have investigated the Giac tune primarily for the improved throttle response and slight bump in hp. I have tuned 4 previous Porsche TT's so I'm not timid about tunes and realize NA cars are different. AWE does the tune right in their shop, even my dealer will do the Giac tune. It's not radical. I will do it in the spring and post for anyone interested in the results.
I'm sure I'll get a lot of warranty worry" responses but I am comfortable with this modest tune and with what the gains will be.

Would be interested to hear your opinion when the time comes. I too have decided my 991.1 is a keeper and want to gradually optimise it.

Check out these guys.

Ask if they can do newer cars than what they show. They have a good outfit too.

They had some issues in the BMW world so I'd be a bit hesitant to use them.
I'm not planning any major engine work. Maybe just an exhaust. I need to break in the car first.
