Anyone here use West End to align their 991? I heard good things from a real car junkie buddy of mine. Getting MPSS installed in a week and going here for an alignment after.

Where are you all getting your alignment done these days?

Just curious, why you getting an alignment?

 

When my 1st set of tires wore poorly I had my alignment done at the dealer.

The Nashville dealer actually has a pretty good price for an alignment.... plus if anything was off causing my tire wear they would know what to replace.

My other cars (VW's and Audi's) I would normally purchase a lifetime alignment from Firestone but they said they would not touch a Porsche.

 

always get my cars aligned when new tires get installed.

 

local dealer charge $400. too steep for my liking.

 

OUCH WTF were they doing for $400 .... that's ridiculous.

Mine was $180 w/tax out the door and it took them a good bit of time to get all 4 wheels back in spec.

 

Darin at West End is the best. He transformed the ride on my '86 911, and BMW. There were later model Porsches in the shop also. He was the main man at Johnson's Alignment in Torrance before opening up West End. Johnson's been a well known Porsche alignment shop. You will not go wrong with Darin or his son Chris.
