Help me choose - 991.2 C4S or used 991.1 Turbo

Hello all.

New 991.2 C4S pdk, pse, sport chrono or 12000km porsche approved 991.1 standard Turbo with sport chrono, turbo S wheels.
For about the same price which car would you buy and why?

Thank you for your help.

FYI...both have PDK.

My 2-cents is that is would be hard to pass on a Turbo.

Good luck either way!

Both are PDK then it's really an easy choice. Get he turbo. I owned 4 Porsche TT cars and they are amazing cars to own and drive. I believe they are the best Porsche has to offer. Don't hesitate get the TT you will never regret it.

Thank you for the help.
Eventhough they are both turbo engines, how would you compare their performance? I have tried the 991.2 Carrera S and I think it is really fast now, very different from the 991.1 Carreras. I am waiting to try the 991.1 Turbo.

991.1 turbo is a beast

Look at power (torque and hp) that should give you an indication of difference in acceleration.

For my taste, I'd go with a very low mileage 430Hp CPO 991 GTS. I've seen them with less than a thousand miles and a month or two old.
I couldn't not find a GTS with ventilated seats, which was a requirement of mine. So I bought a CPO 2015 Carrera S Coupe with 3000 miles that have every option I wanted and the right colors, and 5 years of CPO warranty. And Im lovin it!
I am not fond of any of the TTs.
For the driving I do with the speed limits we have East of the Miss River, the normally aspirated 3.8L with sport exhaust and manual is the most fun. I love blipping the throttle with PSE on. And the throttle response in Sport modes, at a stop sign or stop light, is awesome as is the music from the Sport Exhaust. I like to cruise around 3500 rpm, keeping it on sizzle around the burbs, ready to hit it, unless on trips of more than 8-10 miles in the v Interstate.

991.1 turbo, it's insanely fast, raw, and just an angry car when you get on the throttle.
I enjoy my c2s with the NA engine but nothing feels like a turbo if you want the "kick in the face" experience!

I agree with that on a very rural highway, or on an Interstate where nobody is calibrating your speedometer.
But from a stop sign or from a stop light the TT has no particular advantage the first hundred feet or so.
Around town, with lots of stop signs and stop lights and posted limits in the 25-40 mph range, a 991 TT does nothing to provide any visceral pleasures beyond what a NA 3.8L Carrera S can offer.
In fact, the throttle response of the NA 3.8L is much more satisfying in such a restrictive environment. Insanely fast after turbo spoolup ain't all that great around town.
