I'm Back... with a new 2016 991 4S
Sold my 2014 C4S back in January, tried to do what I thought was the right thing in terms of saving more money and having a larger car for family life. Fast forward 6 months (live-in girlfriend and the dog are gone), and now so too is the 2016 BMW M3 i had driven in lieu of my 911. While the M3 had a ton of power and torque, it obviously was not the same as driving a 911, no matter how I tried to convince myself that it would be almost as good. A friend of mine recently scooped up a 996 4S and ever since I've been constantly thinking about how long until I get back into a 911. I looked around for a few weeks, not very seriously, until I found this beauty in Florida. It's being shipped to me and I should be back in my dream car by the end of the week.

Thanks guys, I'm as excited as I was for the first one.. and the second one... Maybe more, since this time I didn't have to build and wait 3 months for it to come in.

How funny...I did the same thing in selling my '14 CS and got an M3. 1 year later I couldn't stand it any longer and found a new '16 GTS and wife took over the M3. Enjoy your car!!

My brother got 6% off on an ordered car. I've seen upto 8% on cars already on the ground.

hahahah, thanks for all of the kind replies. I got mine for about 5% off , also didn't have to foot bill for having it shipped up here (FL to OH) which was nice.
Luvawatch... Glad to know I'm not the only one that couldn't make it very long in a non-911. There just is no substitute for driving a 911, no matter how short the trip, life is just better in a Carrera.

Congratulations! Beautiful car. Drive it in good health.
I tried the same thing you did with a 2016 M3. Got rid of it after 4 months. It was only fun at 9/10s, but that got a little silly flogging it on my 5 mile commute to the office.

Sweet..remember always buy the car for yourself NOT those around you unless its the primary people mover shared by all. I've seen tons of guys buy an automatic or some other model versus what they really want because of the "possibility" of someone else needing to drive or approve of their cars. Its your car and if you're the primary driver/owner buy it, build it for you. You'll be happier and save tons of $$ in the interim.
You'll also enjoy it a lot more.
Great looking car and congrats!
