Porsche 991.2 first production year

Hello.
It has now passed 1 year since the 991.2 was lauched in the market.
Sometimes the first year production cars have small glitches to be solved!
Are there any issues regarding the new 3.0L turbo flat 6 engine? And what about in the moving air intake flaps in the front or other mechanical or electronic issues?

Or is it just another rock solid 911 car from porsche. What do you think?

Best regards.

I don't own one yet, but if reading the posts on this forum is any guide, I'd say the cars have few problems. Most of the posts are about option selection, adding modifications, or sharing pictures and experiences. If there were a lot of problems, you'd expect to see them posted on a forum such as this.

Porsche is very smart when it comes to launching new platforms. If you notice, they either give a car a facelift with new powertrains or build a whole new platform around existing powertrains. They don't really launch 'all new' cars very often. For example, the 991.2 has the new 3.0 engines mated to the same PDK and same (facelifts) body. The new 718 is the deal. When they launched the 991, it was an all new body with carryover engines from the 997.2. I think this really allows them to reduce the numbers of issues that customer cars experience.
