I have the Chinese ones from Ebay and they still look great, but the problem I have is the chrome chipping where it connects at the top for a ring. Wish there was a fix for that looks crappy.

 

I've done something like this with custom matched paint from automotivetouchup for my freind's ford zx2, but he sold that car.

I also painted a motorolla cellphone casing in a tennis ball green lambo color too in the early 2000's lol.

If I ever need some touchup paint I might try it again on my porsche keys.

 

Then again I bought the outer key part from suncoast for my last carmine red Cayenne GTS. Those were fun. I'd probably go the suncoast route and change them myself. They were fairly durable.

 

I didn't have any luck with the Chinese made. Mine chipped in 2 months.
