Wicked Motorworks
Hi 6speed members!
I wanted to give Massive Props to (Wicked Motorworks) located in Canoga Park, CA and it's owner, Beau! This shop recently completed a massive GT3 RS full spec conversion from a 991 frame. I appreciated Beau's responsiveness and attention to detail with every little detail along the way. I'm super OCD about the details and perfection and their work is totally aligned with my expectations. There was even an interior customization with dashboard double stitching and it wasn't perfect the first time out and he had the dash sent back out to be re-stitched, without my involvement. He actually told me AFTER the fact! I really appreciated that! Beau was a pleasure to work with and very communicative about the process every step of the way. When you have a large project, communication is key and important. I visited the shop (in person) and realized that his shop and operations were in full force servicing a lot of different clients with a variety of impressive conversions and custom work! It was very inspiring to see the extent of the projects being worked on at the shop! I spend several hours there and didn't want to leave! Beau was very kind and accommodating and gave me a full tour of the shop along with introducing me to his assistant. He works quick and is prompt in returning my calls/texts as I do NOT live near the shop and must rely heavily on phone an text communication. He was great in sending me detailed pics along the way so I can make decisions on certain customization items. He offered great recommendations while understanding my vision for the end result. I did not feel that he was ever trying to up-sell me and was honest in his feedback to help me accomplish my desired end result while helping me stay within my budget!
I loved the detail in his work as he is extremely sensitive to EXACT lines on any carbon fiber, or custom panels and trim. Great carbon Fiber work!
Attention to those who are looking for custom work...Don't believe the isolated comments from others who were not satisfied with their projects. I reviewed nearly all reviews and comments made on his work at this shop and I feel that most of these comments were due to unrealistic expectations with cost and/or time expectations for projects to be completed. Works of Art TAKES TIME and depending on the job, the time is definitely worth the wait! If you're looking for a and low grade quality of craftsmanship and with NO attention to detail, then this is NOT the place for you! Quality and perfection takes time and I appreciate a JOB WELL DONE, not a quick and cheap job where imperfections and details are often missed! I've developed a great relationship with Beau and I believe he has his clients' best interest at heart when it comes to GREAT QUALITY and service!
WELL DONE "Wicked Motorworks" ! I would definitely recommend them to people who appreciate high quality custom work! I welcome any inquiries since I'm a very Happy Customer!

One of the funniest posts I've read in a long time. Best line is "Works of ART TAKES TIME". What drivel. Nice try Beau, but people here are not going to fall for it (seems you can't help patting yourself on the back all the time - isn't your arm getting tired). You've tried it too many times and it getting old fast. Post is a major FAIL.
Because it is a learning opportunity for hundreds of new members...I don't expect any long time members or Porschephiles to be deceived by this thread and there also are no obvious links to Wicked...this is not a college campus where free speech is denied

I assume you had a bad experience GT3 Chuck, sorry to hear that. Have you had any projects completed there? If so, please do elaborate on them...I'd love to hear specifics. Thx

Many members have personally had or have friends with bad experiences...best you do a search on Wicked and you will find plenty of information....I thinks most of the bad feeling from members resulted from them selling salvage title cars as rebuilt...some say without disclosure but I find that hard to believe...if you are happy that is all that counts
I think you and I have different definitions of "Isolated".
I respect others opinions & comments and to GT3 Chuck...appreciate the comments. I honestly can't speak for others, but mine was first hand. I paused initially reading comments, but I normally only judge based on my own experiences. Good looking out though!

Joke of a post!
This post is laughable at best. I tried buying an aero front bumper years back for my 991 and it was absolute garbage when it arrived to me. Wicked wouldn't do a return or contact my body shop to make the front bumper fit (you can read about this from my last posts). I had to chime in to ensure no innocent members get taken by Wicked like I have. I tried filing suit against Wicked and discovered they had several lawsuits pending, changed locations of their shop to ensure no one could easily find them. They never reply back or maintain any degree of customer upkeep. It is an absolute joke! I should have done more research and stayed away from them. Found several disgruntled customers that had a plethora of horror stories for me. Stay away from Wicked and stick with the notable names for parts (ie suncoast). Took nearly 6months out of my timeline for the aero upgrade dealing with the fraudsters from Wicked. Their organization is garbage. Stay away!
you gotta give wicked motors credit, they keep trying these false flyers and have got more creative over the last 4 years......i guess they think the latest new owners are stupid and will fall for their line. may be some truth in that considering they bought a .2 ?
