30whp in the midrange isn't bad.

btw, you linked the info for the powerkit, not the ipd plenum.

I'm thinking about ordering one myself, just scared to remove the bumper, lol.

Oh my bad! Thanks! I'm getting one too. I was quoted 4 hours labor to install it.

Rear bumper removal very simple, did it myself.
Amazed at how simple, slid right back in, all screw holes lined up!

I'm not following the math. Does the article say it's +3HP and +6TQ? If so that's a far cry from IPD's website that says +30HP...

+3 hp is the increase at max hp. +30hp is at one place of the curve(4700 prm).
I would have expected the larger intake to help the high end ( max air flow) part of the curve more than the mid range.
