Price increases on new models

Now I don't want to start a ruckus- BUT:

I'm noticing that some of the new models have recently increased in base price while others have not. In particular:

Carrera S (now $105,100)- could swear it came out around $103k with the 991.2 model.
Carrera GTS (now $120,700)- came out around $119k.

Panamera 4S (now $103k) - I think it was $99,600 when it came out.
The Panamera 4 E-hybrid is still $99,600. No change.

Panamera Turbo has gone up to $150k base.

Anybody else notice this??? WTH

Kor is on a distinguished road
In Canada the 991.2 definitely is way more. Maybe compensating for the currency difference though. Before I could price a car below 100 that is now well above.

That seems like a normal inflation increases. I have no problem with it.

I noted the price increases on the Panamera. Would have thought the increase was already factored into the new model. Probably easier to get away with increases on new models.

Seems AWFULLY quick to be raising prices on select models already. The Panny 4 E-Hybrid didn't increase.

Could this perhaps be a somewhat subtle attempt to help profits in light of the VW Diesel-gate?

But for 2018 the mats and heated seats are standard in the 911. Probably has electrolytes too.
They raise the price and we keep drinking the cool-aid...

The thing that bothers me is it was very, very subtle. Some went up, some didn't. Very odd.
