What was fix/resolution to the misfire in bank4-6?
I am having the same symptoms, I.e. CEL saying “ fault engine control, possible to drive on” in yellow. Almost died a few times from ideling when on a stop light.
Here is what I know. I don’t drive it much as I am not around at all. My gas was 1/4 left so I decided to go to chevron and fill her up after not driving her for 7 weeks or so. I know my battery has been weak for months as I hardly drive it, can’t trickle charge due to condo garage. I have radar always connected but it always goes off. I have seen some kind of error when my battery has been low and gave me an effor about “ battery socket” I had my spark plugs. Filter, something else that they needed. The dealer had my bumper off only in April and since then the car has had maybe 100 miles. What solved it for you? La new battery, plugs, coils, reset the obii, or?
Thanks.

Who knows . . . I'm getting frustrated. I'm almost to the point of sucking it up and having it towed 130 miles to nearest Porsche dealer.
Do you recall why the kept it for 9 days, what were the misfires about and what did it cost to fix/how many hours of labor?
I had the same happen to me with a weak battery after not have driven it for a month.
I had same issue, car ran fine until it warmed up then it would start to idle really rough especially in non sport mode to the point it just stalled twice. Took to dealer my car was still under warranty here are the parts they replaced:

Hello,
i am trying to understand, while you had warranty you still had to pay $377 for, or warranty covered it all? Did you only I have 1 misfire or several? Did you drive it in or tow it to the dealer? Lastly did you have a weak battery prior to this happening?
warranty covered all costs, i drove it to the Porsche dealership less than 10. miles from my house, I was told several several misfires and I used my COBB remap device which should several error codes. When it first happened I was waiting at a traffic light and the idle became really erratic, then the car started to shake and make almost a knocking sound, when I tried to accelerate the car did not have normal power, so I was able to make it home and scheduled an appointment to have it fixed. There were no issues with the battery. Hope this helps you...
Did you reset it with the Cobb unit before you took it into the dealer? I am planning on driving it to the dealer in the morning which is 12 miles away- I will drive it below 40 MPH.
Lmk.
My warranty just expired a month ago, I recently got the same problem. I have replaced all the spark plugs and coil packs, reset the codes and then the car starts perfecltly and drive with no problem within 20 min or around 10miles. But it will start to shake during idle and you can feel the CEL is coming soon. Bang ! It comes with a lot of shake and I drive it home slowly.
The code from transmission The code from DME.
The misfire code will still pop up even I changed all set of coil and spark plugs. anyone can can help me ? Maybe the Hydraulic valve or O2 sensor ?

so what did the dealer say and what will if take to fix it?
i took it to the dealer, he asked if I had let the battery die, if I drove it lately. As I had not driven it in 2 months. They said that is what causes the misfire. They ran it against the machines and give it back to me. I will drive it hard and see how it does.
I took it to the dealer, he asked if It stares park for a long time and if the battery drained. Since I had not driven it in 2 months and that too in the city only, he asked me drive it hard. He reset it and in the past 40 miles it’s been good. Hope it stays that way. He said it had no errors.
Dealer cleared codes, no other codes were stored-said drive often on the highway hard

Take it to the dealer, spend some cash. They will clear it and it should go away like mine. Others have told me it will return - I hope it was from not driving it. The code from transmission The code from DME.

Hey, I'm seeing the same symptoms on a 991.2 - misfires on cylinders 4, 5, 6, random misfires. Usually, sporty driving beforehand is involved, as if there's an adaptation. It gets especially bad on track weekends. Would love to hear how you resolved this.
