I just got my GTS cab, and I can't find enough good things to say about it. Even compared to my 991.1 GT3 I think I will give this the edge for overall enjoyment, although I am trying to get a 991.2 GT3 as well and have the best of both worlds.
I think Porsche did a great job with the sports exhaust on the 3.0TT engines. I really don't think I need to get an aftermarket exhaust on this one. On my GT3 and my Huracan I got aftermarket exhausts because I wasn't happy with the way they sounded stock, but as for now I think my GTS sounds good as is.
Regarding rear wheel steering, I highly recommend it. I was shocked at how nimble it made the car feel on twisty roads. It's surreal, I've never felt anything like it. I don't even remember my GT3 feeling that good, even though that also had the RWS. Maybe it's the combination of PDCC/RWS or maybe just an improvement in the RWS? Not sure, but I noticed it immediately and I would not order a car without it.
Interesting stuff, reacher...does your Cab have PDCC as well? I would def entertain a Cab with those options...
Either that or I may go coupe with sunroof delete.
The GT3 isn't available with PDCC, which is interesting to me. I've heard the rear axle steering makes a bigger difference than PDCC, but I had that on my 991 S back in the day and it was a very nice option to me.

Yes, my cab has PDCC as well as rear axle steering. I'm not sure which makes the biggest difference, but I love the way it handles. It's very confidence inspiring how nimble it feels and how little body roll there is.
I got a RWD 991.2 GTS with PDK since beginning of october. It replaces my 991 C4. Due to weather and other (family) issues didm't had the chance to fully experience the car (it has 1500 km on the counter). The GTS simply is a beast. Hope to share my experience with this car in the next months.
The car has been Modesta glasscoated. Here's a picture at the detailer.
My 2018 911 GTS that I spec'ed and ordered was delivered 12/27 - no money down ( have already bought a Macan Turbo from the salesman). The car is amazing. 450HP manual / Rear Spoiler / Bose / front-end lift / fire ext. / white metallic $122,400 net. If you are waiting for a delivery, know that the dealer is out of the loop once it hits the port. I sold a 2012 911 Turbo. The 2018 GTS is faster, tighter, and more fun to drive. Torque and Sound are incredible.
Picked my 2018 GTS up 12/27. Could not be happier. Seems faster than my 2012 Turbo.
Congratulations! What a nice Christmas/New Year present. Depending on the specs of each car, the GTS may in fact be faster. Some more info on your GTS please. Pictures would be appreciated.

Very nice!! I can't wait to get mine.
I placed my order November 24. It was completed one day ahead of Planned/Expected on December 21 and current tracking is showing it's in Port Emden since the 29th. The entry in Port Benicia is planned to be February 16th and Dealer (Carlsen Porsche) Inventory March 2nd. I'm hoping things go well and the car is delivered ahead of schedule, since i don't see any reason for the car to take two weeks from Benicia to the Dealer (not too far from each other).
I think 3-4 months is very fair for delivery time. I'm going to head back to the dealer and drive another GTS next week just to make sure it's what I want.
Xaverious, it looks like my GTS is a twin brother of yours - Black!
Keep me posted !
As for delivery time: I bought my GTS in Germany at PZ Aachen and only had to wait for 5 weeks. Guess I'm just a Lucky guy :-) It was the second Carrera I bought there.

Yes, you're lucky to live much closer to the manufacturer!... Mine has to make the trip all the way to California...
