Regretting getting a convertible?
#16
I've had three of them. The 991 cab is super quiet with the top up and the wind noise with the top down is negligible. I love it.
Then best time to have a cab is winter with the heated seats on, heater blasting, and the smell of burning wood from fireplaces. Of course that's CALIFORNIA winters!
Just bought a 991 GTS Cab. Love it.

3 X going topless...
I had a '96 993 C4 Cab and a '98 C2 Cab and missed every sunny/warm/semi-warm/semi-sunny day after I sold them.
The only remedy was to buy another...a 2013 991 S Cab. Just put another 450 miles on it this past Memorial weekend and can't recommend one enough.

Drive the Cab and then a Targa and decide which you like best, which is what I did, and I ordered a Targa 4S today. Every one of my sports cars has been a convertible so I wanted a change. I read all of the reviews before driving one and most talked about too much wind, turbulence, etc. - I thought they were talking about the 2017 Vette I sold due to the same. However, neither me or my wife had any complaints in either car; a coupe was not even a thought.

+1 for Bob Z. I've had 996 and 997 cabs and now a 991 Targa. It was a flip of a coin between the Targa and a Cab. I went with the Targa after driving a friends and wanted something different, but 'you'll never be sorry getting the Cab.
