I need advice from those who have driven these 2 911 iterations. I am not in a position to test both back to back as 1 is 300 miles away and the other is 630 miles away. The 4s is completely loaded with all available options including sport chrono and pdk. The gts is a pdk as well. I would not be tracking the car but I would most definitely be tearing up the hundreds of miles of twisty 2 lane backroads I am surrounded by. I realize the logical answer is drive both and choose your favorite but given the distances I feel I would appreciate the opinion of those who have experienced both and why they might choose one over the other. Go with the GTS. It is newer and the GTS iteration is just awesome.

 

Is the GTS the 4GTS or rwd version. In my experience the AWD 911's drive differently in a less sporty way. I would avoid AWD unless whether in your area requires it.

 

I have driven them both and bought the GTS, which has all wheel drive and rear wheel steering so it may not be a good comparison. And AWD is not just for in-climate weather.

 

I just got a 2017 GTS- love it and so does everyone that has seen it. Comes as a complete package with everything you need.
