I've got a 2013 991 C MT. I swear I used to be able to move the passenger seat power controls with the car turned off (with the fob in my pocket). Helpful to adjust before guests get in the car. But now it only works with the ignition in the "1" position. Did I change something or was there some reprogramming that changed things on my last service? A low level person in the service department said it only works in the ignition "1" position and always has been that way.

 

You should be able to move the seat without the car on. I do it all the time to clean the car. Maybe your car battery is going bad and that is the reason it the seat doesn't move anymore? How old is your battery?
