Google Earth

Anyone else with paid Connections services, but not able to use Google Earth Satellite layer? Porsche says that they're aware of the issue, but no resolution yet. For me, this was the main reason for me to pay for that service, because I really like how the map looks with all the satellite picture details.

I have an '18 TTS and a '20 CTT. First noticed last fall in the 911 that google earth wasn't working. Rang up porsche and was informed that Google Earth had been discontinued for '18 models. Thought that sucked but oh well - still have it in cayenne. About 2wks ago scrolling through dash to get to map and noticed no Google Earth layer. Called Porsche again and was informed it had been removed from all P-cars. Was very nice to the lady but thought that was BS but I've got bigger probs than trying to haggle over a pro-rated amount for the service. But yes that's the only reason I bought the Nav Pkg or whatever it was.

I've had my '18 911 GTS for almost 3 years now and just renewed the service that still shows Google Earth as one of the features. The service was free for the first year and after that it costs over $180 annually. Honestly, I don't use any of the other features, such as the apps with news and weather. I really liked the satellite map of the Google Earth, but if they're really not providing it any longer, I won't be renewing it for sure next year!
