Extended Warranty Yes or no?

Hi everyone! So my Porsche warranty will expire in a few months on my 911 C4 Cab. Anyone have experience with a third party company? Any recommendations? I’m open to all thoughts and comments. Thank you in advance for your help!

Most go with Fidelity Platinum Service Contracts - Google Porsche Fidelity and threads will come up w/ details. Deciding to purchase one is a personal choice and its really just a form of insurance. If yours is a PDK transmission it adds to consideration since if they fail they are typically replaced vs repaired.

On my M3 I had great luck with Mercury Insurance. They paid for all sorts of fixes. However, they could be a little slow at getting an inspector to the dealership to review and approve the repairs. So it was important to me to use a dealership with no-cost loaner cars.

One thing you might try doing is calling your local dealership service department and asking what extended warranty companies they like working with.

I agree with 503hp. There are so many third party extended warranty insurance companies out there. Some are just junk too. Get advice from a brand dealer and then you can sleep at night.
