My 991 has the stock exhaust, and most of the time I am happy with it, but I wish it had a bit more growl on start-up. I go to a local car meet up sometimes with various makes and models Porsche, gt40, muscle cars, lambos, etc. And they all have a nice rumble and growl at startup. I was looking at the Porsche sport exhaust and I like that you can open and close the flaps to control the sound, but to be honest for the price it didn't sound much louder then the stock on start-up. Anyone else have this issue, and what was your solution. Thanks!

I went with an x pipe which eliminates the center muffler. Mine was Sharkwerks and it was really good. Some say they experience a drone sound at certain RPMs but I never experienced it.

Look at the Kline exhaust. If you’re looking for a cheap way out you won’t get the best and in my opinion right type of sound. Kline makes different types of exhaust both stainless and Iconel. The Iconel is very expensive but amazing. But the stainless is also amazing. Shop around for a used one as many are available. In my opinion Kline makes the car sound like it should from the factory.
