Base 992 manual easter egg

In a recent article from Automobile magazine purely written in regards to the purists 992. The base 911.

”If anything, the stubby shifter is a visual reminder that Porsche promises a manual gearbox option, which one source hints will be announced soon.”

Love the enthusiasm, but that article in Automobile was from August 19' right before they announced the manual for the S only in October....

I have a post elsewhere on 6speed about the manual coming to the base car. Its GOT TO happen.... Just a. question of when ( I hope)
