993 ---------- my dream car.......C2S donor car, 4.3L (will settle on 3.8L) TT motor......hmmm

 

the 993 is the best looking ,10 years ago and today. so well built.

 

I think they'll continue to depreciate, just more slowly than the 996TT

 

You hit it right on the spot mr993 the best looking and one of the best built porsche ever and the last of the real 911. All cars that are built today not just porsches are built like tin cans. The bodies on these cars will not only last forever ( as long as proper maintenance is performed), but the design of car in looks was at its pinnacle. Look at the new 997 reverting back to front lights of the 993, but will never capture the curves of a 993.

 

9eleven C2S, I was dissapointed when the 997Turbo had a spoiler similar to that of a 996's, I was really anticipating a huge tray like wing similar to that of a 993.

 

Mean Machine, I was disapointed as well not to mention the fog light that they incorporated into the front bumper to me seemed like an after thought. I think all the new cars have gone to an angular look where the 993 has some really nice curvy lines. Just a real classic look.

 

The most reasonable and well maintained 993TT I found was a Aramanth Violet over at euro trader going for 68,500 witha mileage of 27,000 miles but it is still expensive for an old car.
