In the last two weeks it seems that I have attracted the "Corvette Nation"...first it was a ZO-6...I had no chance...he got on it and was spinning his tires at 60 MPH...because of the traffic situation there was nothing I could do...tonight it was a car(Corvette) that was probably on the lower end of the HP band(I think they have 435HP)...he had no chance...I, out of courtesy, honked my horn 3 times and took off....it feels really good when you get so far ahead that you can switch lanes and turn in front of them...these little six cylinders can really go!!!!!....Steve C 97 993TT(lightned flywheel, GT 3 clutch, modified ECU, muffler bypass)....DRIVE CAREFUL!!!!!

 

I'd say that's the ultimate insult LOL. But as you note, be careful with such trickery, sounds dicey

 

Good kill. What kind of power does you 993 make? The LS3 Vettes make 436 but the LS2 Vettes make 400 and they look similar. Can be tough to tell.

 

I have a modified ECU(Patrick Motorsports), lightened flywheel, GT 3 clutch and Fab Speed muffler bypass(highly recommend...beautiful exhaust sound)....engine is tired(75K) so I am probably around 435-450HP....I think the Vette that spun it's tires at 60MPH was the new ZR 1....I've hung with the Z06 before...just got my wheels painted a "satin black"....man does it look good...Steve C 97 993TT
