How make spare remote when no code

I bought a -96 TT with only one key and no code card. How do I get a 2nd remote made?

Take your registration to the dealer and they will give you the 4 position code. You can get a key FOB from sunset porsche. Those r the easy steps....then prepare to dance

..ah meant program it manually. If the dealer is going to attempt this, make sure they have experience doing it. If you're going to doing, pray and you might be luckier than a lot of us.

Kidding, it's not that hard just a PIA....do a search on here for 'programming key fob', you should find detail directions... good luck!!
