Independent Porsche Repair Shops in LA

Just moved from NY to LA and am about to rejoin team Porsche by picking up a 993. Can anyone recommend a Independent Porsche Shop in the Los Angeles area? Thanks a lot!!

I can vouch for my mechanic. It is not a Porsche shop but actually a Rotary/RX7 shop. He's serviced both my RX7 (heavily modded) and my M3 from day one. I've seen all body 911s over there. Awesome guy, very knowledgeable and great prices.

He goes by Gazo. Tell him Artin sent you.

Scott's Independent is good. So is TRE. Aase Brothers is an institution down there. If you want to go down the San Diego there's Black Forest. Southern California is loaded with excellent air cooled shops.

thanks guys. trying to unload my z4 and return to porsche after my nightmare 996 experience. kbb has the 993's so low 17-22K, banks only want to finance that amount. i'll have to put a wad of cash down to cover the diff and have even considered a SC instead to save $$.

I would personally stay away from TRE, I've heard way too many horror stories...
