Description: This 2008 911 Carrera S is ready to rock with a custom TPC single turbo kit modified by Prototech, a fully rebuilt motor, all new Prototech software, and an 520 HP at the crank @ high boost. It's just an all around fun car to drive.



Interior: The interior is fully wrapped in leather with alcantara accents throughout. All of the buttons and switches work properly. The Carrera S has many creature comforts such as 3-person memory seats as well as a heated function, one touch up and down windows, a full power sunroof, full power driver and passenger seats, and an easy-to-use touch screen headunit. There is a GT2 alcantara wrapped steering wheel as well as an alcantara wrapped GT2 6-speed shifter and billet aluminum pedals.

Exterior: The 911 is one of the most beautiful and timeless designs ever to hit the road. The shape has been stretched a bit from the original 911, the headlights swept back and everything slicked down to reduce drag. It is a true function over form design. The gloss grey paint looks flawless and all of the badges and trim are in great shape.

Drivetrain: The original 3.8L flat six has been rebuilt and beefed up with a custom TPC single turbo kit by Prototech, an upgraded hot section on the turbo, and all new Prototech software, all putting out an estimated 500 HP at the crank on low boost. All of that power is delivered through a 6-speed transmission, making this Carrera S one of the best sports cars on the road. This car has been meticulously maintained and is 100% up to date on service.

Will this set up pass California strict emissions?

 

$41K for a 2008 C2S with a TPC turbo, how is this not sold yet? I can attest that the TPC turbo is solid, had mine installed for four years now and not a single issue. IMO, all carreras should had been 500hp. TPC did a great job in making the power linear so it feels very naturally aspirated with very minimum turbo lag.

 

Would this be faster than a stock 997 turbo?

 

stock 997 turbo will be way faster than this one the OP's car will be a great daily driver with some oomph in it

Way faster? Are you sure, you might want to check, I believe the the 997.1 is 480hp and 150lbs heavier than OP's C2S. OP's car has 40hp more hp and is lighter. Logic tells me OP's car is probably faster.
