Newbie question about 1996 vs 1998 S

Are the bodies the same width? I think I read somewhere that in 1997 the S was introduced and uses the wider body of the turbo. Is that true? I was looking at a 1996 C2 non S and was wondering what all the differences were between it and an S of 97 or 98. Any help would be appreciated.

Found this. Sorry for posting...dooohh
