No apologies needed! I completely agree. I'm trying to source a replacement hood but I believe it is not the same as an original 993 hood. Therefore, I need to figure out where it came from.

So anyone have any ideas besides the fact that they aren't the most attractive modifications.

I bet the engine is vented pretty well with all those much needed louvers. Cool running car in traffic. ;o)

I did find out more about it: It's a one off carbon widebody, and poorly put together as the hood had cracked and many components inside the fender wells were simply zip tied in place.

A new hood is being made as of now from a stock 993 hood which will have a single vent 917 style. The vent is being kept to flow air through a custom Ron Davis racing radiator. Radiator is cooling water from the intercooler on a TPC racing supercharger.
